WHO CAN AUDITION
Those who love performing in (TYA) Theatre For Young Audiences. All body types, ages, races, and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition.
At Pixie & Dot Productions, we are looking for versatile, imaginative, and collaborative performers who love storytelling and thrive as part of an ensemble.
Our Theatre for Young Audiences productions are fast-paced, high-energy adventures. Every performer plays an essential role in bringing these magical worlds to life, both onstage and behind the scenes. We are seeking artists who are excited to embrace multiple roles, make bold character choices, and work together to create unforgettable experiences for young audiences and their families.
There is very little downtime backstage. Performers should be prepared for a busy, active track throughout the entire 60-minute production, with frequent costume changes, character transformations, puppetry, movement, storytelling and so much more.
Theatre for Young Audiences is a unique art form. Our productions are condensed adaptations of full-scale musicals and plays, requiring a small cast of 5–8 performers to accomplish what might traditionally be done by a company of 20 or more. It is demanding, exhilarating, and incredibly rewarding.
If you love ensemble work, embrace creative challenges, and are ready to flex your acting muscles with flair and heart, we'd love to see you at auditions.

REHEARSALS
Please note the rehearsal process starts approximately 5 weeks prior to a show opening with weeknight evening rehearsals and daytime weekend rehearsals. Shows run for 2 weekends, with performances Saturday and Sunday at 10:00am, 1:00pm & 4:00pm.
Our Pantomime has a six week rehearsal process with performances over two weeks in December 2026 & 2027.
