We are thrilled to invite performers of all experience levels to audition for this high-energy, feel-good musical packed with unforgettable songs, big choreography, and tons of heart. Whether you’ve been dreaming of singing on stage or want to be part of an exciting ensemble, this is your chance to join the Wildcats!

About the Show
Based on the hit Disney Channel Original Movie, Disney's High School Musical follows Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High as they navigate friendships, expectations, and the thrill of stepping outside their comfort zones.
With iconic songs like “Breaking Free,” and “We’re All In This Together,” this show is a celebration of teamwork, self-discovery, and being true to yourself.

Who Can Audition?
We are seeking a diverse group of performers for all roles, including:

Strong singers and dancers for the ensemble
All are encouraged to audition — whether you’re new to theatre or a seasoned performer!

Audition Dates
Auditions will take place:
DATES: March 13th & 15th, 2026
LOCATION: The Balsam School - 604 Cawston Ave (Buzzer 0301)
TIME: You will receive a 5min time slot and a dance call start time
Callbacks (if needed): March 24th, 2026

What to Prepare
Song
Please prepare 16–32 bars (about 1 minute) of a musical theatre or pop-style song that shows your voice.

Bring sheet music

No a cappella auditions, please
Dance Call
All auditionees will learn a short choreographed combination during the audition.
Bring clothing and shoes you can move comfortably in.
Cold Reads
Selected performers may be asked to read from the script.

Rehearsals will begin:

August 6th to 9th
All cast members must be available for tech week and all performances.
