WHO CAN AUDITION
Those who love performing in (TYA) Theatre For Young Audiences. All body types, ages, races, and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition.
WHAT TO PREPARE FOR YOUR AUDITION
-
One song is required (2min MAX)
-
One monologue of your choice (2min MAX)
*An accompanist will be provided for all auditions. Please come with sheet music in the proper key and in a binder.

CAN YOU AUDITION ONLINE?
YES! We will accept video submissions. Email info@pixieanddot.ca with your headshot, resume, song video/link and monologue video/link.
DO PERFORMERS GET PAID?
YES! Pixie & Dot Productions pays performers an honorarium for rehearsals and performances for our mainstage season and principal roles in Panto.
REHEARSALS
Please note the rehearsal process starts approximately 4 weeks prior to a show opening with weeknight early evening rehearsals. This can be adjusted based on general consensus of the team and space availability. Shows run for 2 weekends, with performances Saturday and Sunday at 10:00am, 1:00pm & 4:00pm.
*Please note some productions add performances for schools but only based on availability of the team.

AUDITION TIME
You will receive an email with your audition time in a timely manner and we ask that you arrive 15 mins before your audition to prep and calm those nerves. ​
