SYNOPSIS
Celebrated on Broadway, A Year with Frog and Toad garnered three Tony Award nominations, notably for Best Musical. Drawing inspiration from Arnold Lobel's cherished books, this enchanting production unfolds the whimsical journey of two endearing friends—Frog, the affable optimist, and Toad, the somewhat gruff companion—across four delightful seasons.
As the duo emerges from hibernation in Spring, their adventures include planting gardens, swimming, raking leaves, and even indulging in the thrill of sledding. Along this spirited escapade, they discover life lessons, celebrating the unique qualities that make them special. Blending elements of vaudeville and make-believe, A Year with Frog and Toad is a captivating narrative of enduring friendship.
The musical's jazzy and upbeat score, composed by Robert and Willie Reale, effervesces with melody and wit, making it an inventive, exuberant, and family-friendly spectacle. The magic of Frog and Toad's friendship remains at the heart of the show, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
